EMF, Inc. is proud to offer custom CNC machining services to customers in a range of industries with particular experience in the demands of aerospace, military, medical, and government. Customer specified components are manufactured utilizing state-of-the-art equipment including vertical mills, horizontal boring mills, machining centers, and engine lathes featuring semi-automatic heads, thru spindle cooling, spindle changers, pallet changers, indexing heads, and rotary tables. Our machinery boasts CNC control capabilities, up to 18,000 rpm milling spindle speeds, with 4 axis turning, and 5 axis milling along with three and four jaw chuck fixturing, collets, and in house fixturing and tooling abilities.

Custom parts are possible from a number of materials including metals such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, high nickel alloys, brass, copper, and titanium; plastics including Delrin, nylon, UHMW, and phenolic. We are also experienced in machining specialized materials including graphite, carbon fiber, fiberglass, wood, and composites. A host of machining processes are carried out during manufacturing including milling, drilling, boring, turning, threading, tapping, thread milling, knurling, and broaching, along with pocketing, profiling, reaming, facing and various cutting techniques. Size capacities include a turning length of up to 15' and turning diameter of up to 48"; a milling length of up to 92", milling width of up to 68", and milling height of up to 68". Maximum part weights are up to 10,000 lbs, and the tightest tolerances of ± .0001" are achieved throughout production. We feature responsive service and rapid turnaround times, handling low to moderate production levels with JIT delivery options available. All of our methods and products are held to the highest industry standards for quality including meeting ISO 9001:2008 requirements, AS 9100, ITAR, ANSI, Mil-Std, and AWS codes.
